Designed in collaboration with Lothar Windels, Professor of Furniture Design at the Rhode Island School of Design, the Sakonnet Café Chair is a stylish modern Windsor chair perfect for small spaces and casual dining. The Sakonnet’s compact footprint mirrors the classic Thonet bentwood side chair. The Sakonnet’s distinguishing feature is the center back post which extends from the comb to the rear stretcher echoing classic New England brace back windsor chairs. This distinct construction feature adds strength and creates a unique rear profile making the Sakonnet as handsome when pulled up to a table as it is when it is freestanding.

Constructed in solid ash hardwood, the Sakonnet offers comfort and a graceful stance in a sturdy and compact 16" wide frame.  Nylon glides standard.
