Cailfornia Prop 65 Warning

We are providing Proposition 65 warnings to inform consumers that products which include brass components contain chemicals on the State of California’s Proposition 65 list. All brass O&G products are made from pure brass alloy 360, which contains a small, but detectable, amount of lead to aid in machinability. This lead content is locked with the alloy matrix of copper and zinc. Products with a nickel finish contain nickel. Lead is absorbed into the body by consuming or breathing dust from lead bearing compounds. Learn more here.

The State of California has clarified that “the fact that a product bears a Proposition 65 warning does not mean by itself that the product is unsafe.” The law is a “Right to Know” and does not indicate a product is unsafe if used as intended. https://www.p65warnings.ca.gov
